review: Bernie and Chet - Spencer Quinn

"We were very devoted to work, Bernie and me."
offering varied reading fun with exciting detective story.
Reading this debut work by Spencer Quinn makes the success of the author's understandable.

Bernie Little is assisted in his work as a private eye Chet by his dog, a bright and brave guy. Each had to deal with smaller long divorce cases until they are eventually confronted with a mysterious case, the abduction of a young girl. On the reader now waiting moments of suspense, action and unexpected events. Up to the last page an exciting reading adventure.

I especially liked that the author of the dog can tell the story of Chet. From his perspective, we encounter the various characters and situations. Chet is intelligent and has a good sense, not only as regards criminal cases. Even in human relations, he quickly noticed special circumstances. It is fun, in his view the people to analyze. The brave, sympathetic detective dog shows also all too human characteristics, such as his passion for speed, combined with the penchant for fast cars, specifically, every Porsche. Together with his dog-specific behavior traits such as the Hunting instinct or the talented nose is a lovable character created.

Conclusion: A treat for all crime - and dog fans looking for a rewarding change. A unique reading experience is guaranteed.

4 stars!
