Tuesday, 5:15 local time in Ō saka: after a sleepless night I left the apartment on tiptoe, to wake no one - from the roommates I had said goodbye the night before - and go with the hand luggage towards the station. The hand luggage consisted of a small trolley on which in turn includes a matching laptop case, the big bag, small bag, the big screen and the plastic bag with a wonderfully soft pillow (farewell gift from George).
At the station I had balanced the large travel bag in the locker and looking for the elevator (in the corner behind the lockers is well hidden, but I am of course with all my bags in the wrong direction gelatscht ...). On the platform it was only then again, wait. I was promptly accosted again by a Japanese woman. Where, where, and what do you do in Japan. Actually, I was too tired to get me to talk in any language, but it did hammer out a little.
From Flughafenexpreß, I could watch the sunrise over Osaka - when I'm not struggling against fatigue. At a quarter past seven I was at the airport, bought myself a luggage cart, so I do not strutting longer had one each bag on each arm behind me, and I have the switch visited by Korean Air. Checking in was pleasantly fast, and although the bag was guaranteed heavier than 20 kg, I had NOTHING to pay.
The plane of Osaka raised from time to Seoul. From this flight, I slept through most of it. I had taken my place, brought out the pillow and made myself comfortable. I practically fell asleep before the plane was in the air. The smell of fresh coffee would wake me up right on time for breakfast (sashimi) again, but as soon as the stewardess the tray was collected again, I leaned back on the plane wall (great if you have a window seat has!) And slept on. Next time I woke up because the plane jerked Sun Oh, I thought, we are advised in such turmoil? No, the plane had just landed. The descent, I had slept through completely. In Seoul I had
about a half hour stay. As soon as I was by the second security check through, I went in search of a phone. My father had insisted that I call from Seoul to let you know if I had not missed the plane. I have also done then. In Germany, it was half past three clock. Morning. Well, who turns off the mailbox function of its phones, may then not be surprised if he is torn by the time from sleep. ;-)
The aircraft flew to Frankfurt with half an hour late starting. The flight lasted eleven hours, of which I have slept for a while, though not as much as hoped. The Korean lunch, I was not so sparkling, over dinner, I decided, therefore, for the Western variant. Much better. In between now and then I have seen out the window, saw a movie and tried to sleep a little. Once
at 17:40 local time in Frankfurt, I saw pretty much first thing in the bottom of an extremely narrow escalator, before the pent-up according to all the welcome sign "Welcome to smoke-free Frankfurt Airport", which some joker in a black Edding "Welcome to free belly had Frankfurt transformed. "Had no crowds have been, I would like this done before a quick photo.
Most of the passengers in the plane were Koreans or Japanese who piled up all at the immigration counter for non-EU citizens. I was much faster. But at the baggage claim equality was rescinded. It took an eternity until my big bag finally showed up.
Then came the tariff. Long lines, but officials waved the most simply and made only a few samples. Guess even know who was stopped ... That must have been because I a hair with the heavy baggage car the customs officer was traveling on foot.
"So, what have you got anything in there?" "Um, yes, well, I was more than a year in Japan, come back now, and there are my clothes, shoes and so there. My jewelry too." (For God's sake, That sounds almost as if I had my crown jewels had it!) "Ah, did you also purchased jewelry? How much was it of?" "Each part has cost only 500 yen, the euro are maybe three or so." (Probably somewhat less, the yen is now pretty much in the cellar. :-() On alcohol, tobacco? "" No. "" Have you bought Christmas presents? "" Yes, but I have all been sent in the mail. " "Lucky. Then goodbye." "Goodbye. And a Merry Christmas." (That I could not resist it anymore.)
Then it went through the exit, where I was photographed promptly:
Yes, I was very tired. This is seen in the increase of good.
with my parents, I've sat down first for a coffee. I needed quite urgently. But then it soon went to the car and go home. About three-hour drive. Shortly after ten clock we were back home, where my grandma and my little brother were waiting.
Years ago, when my little brother is still very high on his big sister had to look up, I promised him that I would one day head back to put to him in the eye. Now it is time.
Yesterday I slept until noon and the afternoon was already tired. Today, I am against to clock shortly after six in the morning woke up. And a little later was again a bit tired. Strangely, when I arrived last year in Osaka was, I did not have such a strong jet lag.
And what did I do in two days? Not very much. Grandma's good eaten pea soup (which I had missed that!). With my mother to go shopping in Werrepark been. Me in the City Hall registered again. Starting from the box. And this afternoon Pfefferkuchenteig touched. Someone has to care very much about the Christmas cookies. ;-)
